TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Week 1 - 5 Days
Dive into Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS) where
you will learn how develop fundamental WSS building blocks such as Features,
application pages, site pages, Web Parts, custom list types, site columns,
content types, custom workflows and site definitions.
In additon, dig into Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
(MOSS). You will learn how to assemble and configure business
solutions by using and extending the portal and web content management features
of MOSS as well as other server-side services such as the Business Data
Catalog, Forms Services, Excel Services and Report Center.
Week
2 - 5 Days
Take the knowledge you've gained in week 1and put it to use in
this 5 day project based week in which you will implement a SharePoint
2007 Site.

| INSTRUCTOR BIOS
Chris Montgomery
Chris Montgomery is a result proven professional in SharePoint
administration and development. Seven plus years technology & consulting
experience covering development (.Net 2.0), business intelligence solutions and
database development & design. As a consultant, he has had the opportunity
to work in a variety of domains, including the financial, utilities and
manufacturing sectors. Chris has provided consulting to companies including
Atlantic Marine, Mitsubishi Power Systems and Airborne Health. Chris has worked
extensively with SharePoint providing solutions in collaboration, business
intelligence and business forms automation. Chris holds a Bachelors
Degree in Computer Engineering from UCF and a MCTS Certification (MOSS
).
Zac Boyles
Zac Boyles is a Sr. MOSS Application developer with Xcelligent, LLC. Zac has
specific expertise in InfoPath Browser Based forms, Reporting and advanced
Workflow development. Additional areas of expertise are SQL 2005 Reporting
Services, Web Services, Microsoft AJAX, SQL CLR, XML Forms, OOP, RibbonX,
Windows Mobile 5 SDK, SharePoint SDK, and Enterprise Library.
In his engagements with Xcelligent, Zac has developed complex
applications and workflows utilizing MOSS, .NET, AJAX and Visual Studio. Zac
has also conducted MOSS developer training for the University of North Florida,
Scientific Games, Xerox, and government agencies. In addition, Zac has led
seminars and webinars on MOSS related topics such as; Development techniques
utilizing Visual Studio; Integrating MOSS and Microsoft Reporting Services; and
Building Dashboards using MOSS 2007. Zac completed his Associates of Arts
Computer Science and Business Focuses at Daytona Beach Community College.
