I just wanted to share the news that today I have completed one year here at Infragistics. It seems pretty good to work in the industry for a year and learn new things by each passing day. I still recall my first day at SetFocus when wondering where I will fall at the end of the course. Now its one year and I still miss the time I passed at SetFocus. I owe it all to SetFocus for putting the hard work behind each one of us.

"I took the job! I'll be working on web portals used for testing a client's software. I did have to turn down 2 other offers, but I feel that I made the right decision.
I would not have made it this far without your help and encouragement, and I certainly would not be in the position to have to turn down offers.
I began looking for a position as soon as I got out of SetFocus and I landed a position within a month of graduating. Not only that, but there didn't seem to be any position that I interviewed for, that would have been over my head.

"My situation isn't likely that of the typical student, but it is reflective of the character and genuine concern behind the staff at SetFocus. SetFocus has been there and willing to work with me through personal circumstances and difficulties. My admissions rep is always there for questions, always checking in to make sure all is well. When you need her, she's there and will direct you to the right person when she doesn't have the answer. She's the kind of person you wish you could stick in your pocket and carry around to organize your life. Her genuine care is highly respectable.
The 3 instructors I had were great. Very easy to understand, and open when questions are asked. Each are very personable and share from there own life experiences as developers. This gives you greater insight in how to develop and has opened my eyes towards thinking about development tasks in ways you can't get from a traditional book.
However, the selling point for me is the reputation that SetFocus carries.
It's almost like the MIT of technical trade schools. Very well respected, numerous partner companies, job placement for those who are interested, or if not, referrals given backed by their reputation. As more and more companies look to hire developers, they look for those who have completed a structured course like that which SetFocus offers. Their large base of partnerships is reflective of their respected reputation in the work force.
I highly recommend SetFocus for anyone interested in .Net development.

"I definitely feel that SetFocus trained me well and there were great lectures and points on finding a job. I think that the Career Development did everything they could do and the rest is up to the students.
Overall, I really thought the instructors were so unbelievably knowledgable. I don't know how they can hold all that knowledge. That definitely comes with experience and they really were just nice people."

After I studied the project specifications I realized that most of the questions that a company will ask is Database-related.
