The GRID® is SetFocus' premier solution to on-line training. The term "The GRID®" is an acronym for Global Remote Instructional Delivery. Now that you know what The GRID® is - Let’s find out how training  through The GRID® works!

One of the many benefits of plugging into The GRID® is how easy it is to do! When you plug into The GRID® you need to have the following set up: 

1.  A PC
2.  A TV
3.  A Polycom V500 component (provided by SetFocus)
4.  High Speed Internet Connection
5.  Belkin Wireless G, model F5D7230-4

Just Click and Connect!

• Its 8:30am and your course begins in 30 minutes.
• You get comfortable in front of your desktop, laptop, tablet, or whatever your form of “PC” is these days.
• Open up a Remote Desktop Connection into a Windows Virtual Machine containing a full installation of the SetFocus course and all server applications necessary, housed on a powerful Dell Blade Server.
• Turn on your TV, equipped with Polycom video conferencing technology (provided by SetFocus)
• Click and Connect to your classroom- it’s that simple!

You’ve plugged into The GRID® for training online! You can see, hear, and engage in everything: the instructor, the whiteboard, the course materials, and your classmates. 28 minutes left until class begins - still have time to spare to grab that cup of coffee!
