SetFocus’ Future Looks Bright as Career Development Specialist Receives Promotion

January 9, 2007 – Parsippany, NJ - SetFocus, a leading provider of software developer training, today announced the promotion of Theresa Billy to Director of Corporate Relations. Until now, Theresa has held the title of Director of Career Development, working side by side with students in training and acting as a liaison between potential employers and SetFocus graduates. In this new role, Theresa will continue to maintain the relationships between corporate clients and SetFocus alumni, while taking on the extra responsibility of bringing more value to such clients via private training, GTR courses, new tracks, and new lines of business.

Theresa has worked for SetFocus just over one year, starting in October of 2005. Even from the beginning, Theresa’s enthusiasm, energy, and self-motivation has been clear. Since then, she has not only continued to provide SetFocus students with superior education and guidance in career development, she has also maintained relations with employers, while increasing the company’s database of corporate clients.

Today, Theresa welcomes and embraces her new role within the company. Her ultimate focus is to ensure that SetFocus .NET and SQL developers are provided the best possible career opportunities while meeting the strategic needs of employers and their clients. She explains, “My goal is to strengthen the relationship between our students, alumni, instructors, and employers and to promote and provide new opportunities for all. By combining quality job search guidance to our grads, feedback and corporate resources to our instructors, and extended training and recruiting services to our employers, we can improve our products and create a streamlined win-win equation for everyone.” Hopes are high that Theresa’s new role will bridge relations between clients, instructors, and students in order to create a support system that takes corporate need and directly applies such feedback into the classroom.
