SetFocus promotes Dr. Vito P. Jokubaitis to Director of Training

October 22, 2004 – Parsippany, NJ - SetFocus, a leading provider of software developer training, today announced the promotion of Dr. Vito P. Jokubaitis to Director of Training. In addition to his ongoing contribution in the classroom, as the Director of Training, Dr. Jokubaitis will be the primary lead of team members of the Training Department and will be responsible to oversee, co-ordinate and contribute to the development of complex technical course materials, training objectives and delivery among department members to support the ongoing mission of SetFocus.

Dr. Jokubaitis joined the company in 2002 as Senior Instructor and quickly rose to several supervisory positions. Dr. Jokubaitis has been a professional software developer since 1973 and has held several technical and managerial positions with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Telcordia Technologies before joining SetFocus. In addition to his instruction at SetFocus, Dr. Jokubaitis held a position as an adjunct Professor of Computer Science, for 18 years, at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

Dr. Jokubaitis received his B.E, M.E (Electrical), and PhD from Stevens Institute of Technology.  First joining SetFocus as a Java instructor, Dr. Jokubaitis became immersed in the .NET platform becoming one of the first .NET MCSDs in the country.  He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the IEEE Computer Society.
