SetFocus Releases 2006 Placement Statistics

100% Placement Rate for All Eligible 2006 SetFocus Master’s Program Graduates

May 31, 2007 Parsippany, NJ – Today, SetFocus a leader in .NET Training and Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions, announced this month their 2006 Master’s Program Employment Statistics, a number that once again exceeded market expectations. The placement rate for all eligible SetFocus graduates is now 100% within 13 weeks of graduating the Master’s Program. This statistic is up from a rate of 98% last year.

SetFocus’ .NET Master’s Program graduates have received an overwhelming amount of attention and response from employers in the programming and developing industry. In fact, 12% of these graduates accepted jobs prior to completing the Master’s Program. Following graduation, 38% found jobs within 1-4 weeks; while the rest of all eligible students were able to secure jobs within 13 weeks after graduation. Eligible students are defined by those who maintained an overall score of 80% or higher during the training at SetFocus. The success rate for job placements is a reflection of the top-notch career development training and assistance that SetFocus offers to each programmer that goes through the Master’s Program. As a part of SetFocus’ Career Development strategy, student’s network and interview with many of the company’s hiring partners, such as Avanade and Infragistics. In 2006, 56% of job placements were direct through SetFocus hiring partners, while 44% of the jobs found were through SetFocus leads/recruiters/job boards.

SetFocus is also excited to announce some early statistics for the SQL Master’s Program graduates. Having launched the new Master’s Program track in late 2006, it is still very early to predict and analyze such information. However, of the graduates from the first SQL Server Master’s Program course, 80% of them have been placed into jobs already. 60% of these graduates fell into the “eligible” category for SetFocus’ placement rate. The company is eager and hopeful for similar statistics and placement rates as more developers go through the SQL Server track and graduate in 2007.
