SetFocus Goes Green

Since the introduction of The GRID^® in 2005, SetFocus has been part of the Green Revolution, reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere with each graduating class.

One single daytime GRID® student would commute 63 round trips, saving a total of 1700 pounds of hydrocarbons from being released into the atmosphere.       One single evening GRID® student would commute 105 round trips, saving a total of 2800 pounds of hydrocarbons from being released into the atmosphere.      Since late 2005 up until early this year, The GRID® has had a total of 60 day and 28 evening students.    By the end of 2007, The GRID® will have prevented 181,000 pounds of hydrocarbons from being released into the atmosphere.      With every graduating class from this point forward, current forecasts point to approximately 65,000 pounds of hydrocarbons being saved per quarter with more usage of The GRID®.    By the year 2010, SetFocus will have prevented approximately 1.5 Million pounds of hydrocarbons from entering the atmosphere.
