TA  ::  Derick Maddison

Derick is a Teaching Assistant (TA) to The Master’s Program:  SQL Server Track. A Master's Program graduate himself, Derick understands the intense nature of the program and thrives on helping people succeed and graduate.  In addition to his TA duties, Derrick also provides services as a staff SQL Server Developer for SetFocus.

A graduate of both Cornell  and Boston Universities, prior to joining SetFocus, Derick was a Training Specialist with Techteam Cyntergy.  In that role he conducted training sessions nationwide.  He also configured software applications, conducted hardware installations and offered live technical support. It was during his tenure as a Training Specialist that he discovered his passion for teaching others, which led him to SetFocus and The Master's Program.  Derick is working towards his teaching certification, which he intends to complete in 2009.

Derrick currently resides in Sacramento, CA and works with students remotely, via The GRID.
